Call sheet maker

A call sheet tells everyone on a shoot where to be, when, and what is happening that day. CallSheetKit lays it out for you: fill in the times, location and safety details, paste your crew, cast and schedule, and print a clean one-page sheet.

Saved you some time? Leave a tip, entirely optional.

Call times are sorted automatically, the day length is worked out from crew call to wrap, and CallSheetKit warns you about common gaps such as a missing hospital, a late lunch or an actor called after shooting starts who is not in the schedule.

How to fill in the call sheet

Pick a template to see a finished example, then replace it with your own production. Enter the production title, company, date and shoot day. Under Times, set crew call, shooting call, lunch and the estimated wrap; you can type 7, 7:30, 0730 or 7:30 pm and CallSheetKit understands each. Fill in the location, full address, parking or load-in instructions, nearest hospital and the weather with sunset time if you are shooting outside.

The schedule, cast and crew boxes take one line per item. For the schedule use vertical bars between time, scene, description, cast and location so descriptions can contain commas. For people use commas or paste columns straight from a spreadsheet: role or character, name, phone and call time. The preview sorts everyone by call time and counts cast and crew.

    Checks before you send it

CallSheetKit looks for the mistakes that cause the most trouble on the day: no hospital listed, no address, a day longer than twelve hours from call to wrap, lunch more than six hours after call, a shooting call more than four hours after crew call, call times it cannot read, and cast called after cameras roll who do not appear anywhere in the schedule. Warnings never block printing; they are a checklist.

    Printing and sharing

Print / save PDF prints the sheet alone, without the form or this page, on a single page for most shoots. Save it as a PDF to email or message the team the night before. Copy as text gives a plain version for a group chat.

    Private by design

CallSheetKit has no accounts and no server. Names, phone numbers and addresses are kept in local storage on this device only and never uploaded.
